What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you become a customer of the Purr Inn Boarding Cattery.
For the smooth running of the Purr Inn and to comply with the terms of our licence we need to keep a record of:
- Your name
- Your address
- Your landline and mobile numbers
- Your email address
- Contact details of another responsible person in case of emergency
- The details of your pet(s)
- The name and telephone number of your veterinary surgeon
What do we use your information for?
We hold your information to ensure the smooth running of the Purr Inn Boarding Cattery and to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for your cat(s). We also have to hold some data to comply with the terms of our licence.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. We must retain your records for a minimum of 3 years beyond the boarding dates. The maximum retention time we use is 6 years from date of last stay. If for any reason you no longer wish for your data to be held by us, please advise in writing. All information held on paper and no longer required will be shredded, and electronic data will be deleted.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. We may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, or protect ours or other’s rights, property, or safety. Your cat’s photo and name may appear on our Website or Facebook page, we will never use your family name in any posts, however any reviews you leave may show your name.
